On occasion we may get an IPA notice request, this comes from the Police (ONLY)
If anybody other than the Police requests information about who an IP address refers back to, you advise that "Unfortunately we are unable to provide any information tracing IP addresses down to customer activity due to UK GDPR Regulations"
IF the police are asking, forward the IPA notice onto spoc@pxc.co.uk
Ask them to track the IP address in the IPA notice back to a CASR reference.
Once a CASR is provided you can track the customer by searching the CASR in freshdesk customer field.
Once a Customer is Identified collate the customer name and address and confirm with Luke each time to ensure he is okay with passing the data onto the police.
All actions MUST be logged on Freshdesk for auditing trails.
